Can You See Your Nose?
$45.00
Yes, you always can, though your mind chooses to ignore it.
Luckily for us, there is a very good reason our brains choose to ignore our nose, which is always in our field of vision. The brain does so through a process called ‘unconscious selective attention’, which allows us to use our brains more efficiently by not registering things that are not so important.
If the nose is not useful information, our brain decides we don’t need to see it. Given we can only focus on one thing at a time, it makes sense to filter out visual objects that will distract us.
Fortunately for this monster, he doesn’t notice his nose. If he did, he probably wouldn’t notice anything BUT his nose.
